Packaging Specifications and Options
Our standard shipping cartons hold one tin or three gift bags; the merchandise fits snugly inside, in order to decrease potential damages while en route. All products are sealed and are clearly marked with product description and ingredient declaration.
All tins will be shipped in their own separate cartons, regardless of the number of items per order. This is to minimize damages to the merchangdise during shipping, and to ensure that your products arrive in the same high quality condition in which they were sent.

Freight Damage Reporting
Before accepting any shipment, inspect for damages and verify the carton count. All exceptions must be noted on the delivery receipt prior to acceptance. If interior damage is suspected, open the carton prior to acceptance. Failure to note damage will result in claim denial.
If damage is discovered while unpacking, notify Lucky Lady within 5 days. All cartons and packing material must be saved for inspection.
Proper Storage of Raw Shelled Pecans
Avoid the following: exposure to sunlight, heat, relative humidity above 65% and storage with products which give off strong odors. Shelled pecans leave our plants with a moisture content ranging from 3½% to 4¼%. Storage at 65% RH is extremely important to maintain the quality and flavor of your pecans.
At a relative humidity of 75 to 85%, pecans immediately increase in moisture content. Mold may begin to form at approximately 4.75% and develops rather rapidly above 4.75%. A product which arrived in perfect condition may be ruined in a matter of days if subject to high humidity.
International Shipments
We will be happy to accept your international orders if you call us directly. We are unable to accept international orders over the internet at this time.
